Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technical Project Manager

Position Title: Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Technical Project Manager (TPM)

Position Summary:
The Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for managing and facilitating cross-functional development projects for Cadwell’s IONM product line. The IONM TPM has a clinical background in IONM, an extensive knowledge of Cadwell’s IONM products, and an understanding of medical device product development processes. This position is embedded within the R&D team and works closely with Product Management to create best-in-class products. This position is located in Kennewick, WA.

Key Functions / Responsibilities:
Work closely with R&D and the Product Manager (PM) to both create and maintain products.
Assist with product requirements management including maintenance of the product requirements document, managing the requirements change approval process, and translating requirements into detailed design specifications for the development team.
Work with the development team on an ongoing basis to verify products meet requirements and specifications, including clear documentation of noted deficiencies and replication steps.
Create and update product documentation such as help files, user guides, training materials, application notes, etc. in coordination with Product Management.
Assist with new product training of internal employees including sales, application support, service, installation, and sales support.
Provide high-end (Tier 3) customer support when needed.
Serve as primary contact for escalated customer support issues.
Administer Limited Release of new products in coordination with Product Management and act as initial point of contact for reported issues or suggestions.
Create and maintain cross-functional project plans.
Track and report on progress to project goals and milestones.
Identify project risks and work with team members to proactively mitigate them with escalation to Product Management as appropriate.
Effectively communicate and escalate issues that have the potential to impact project scope and/or timeline.
Ensure compliance with Cadwell’s medical device design control procedures and processes.
Create and maintain project documentation.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Education / Experience:
Background in health sciences, college degree in relevant area, or equivalent preferred.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical IONM environment or clinical IONM product support role required. CNIM certification strongly preferred.
A minimum of 3 years hand-on experience with IONM products and applications required, specific experience with Cadwell IONM products preferred.
Experience in a project management role is a plus.
Has or is willing to pursue certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Experience developing products within a medical device regulated environment is a plus.

Requires travel up to 20%
