Project Manager - Installation

MaineLine Graphics ( is a family owned and operated sign company located in Antrim, NH that partners with large multifamily developers in major metropolitan markets to design, produce and install sign systems.

Job Function

This job requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought-out results. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary. A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to spot and correct errors is important. Work must be done right and quickly, while always focusing on accomplishing the goal and demanding the highest quality work from team members. This position requires an intense, driving, results-oriented self-starter whose sense of urgency is tempered and disciplined by a concern for the accuracy and quality of the work. This individual can react and adjust quickly to changing conditions and come up with practical ideas for dealing with them. This position requires someone who is purposeful and driven to get things done quickly and accurately, while involving the necessary people. Responds positively and actively to challenge and pressure and has confidence in their ability to handle problems and people.


  • Manage a dynamic schedule for all installation projects, both current and future
  • Schedule and manage both in-house and 3rd party installers for jobs to ensure delivery dates are met
  • Confirm needs of each install to prepare product for mobilization or shipping
  • Manage department of 8-10 installers (80% on the road)
  • Manage and provide structure and feedback for 3rd party installers
  • Communicate with install team pre-install and post-install to capture all necessary data and communicate it back to internal teams and client
  • Communicate with production team (internally) to ensure delivery of product for scheduled install
  • Manage scheduling changes proactively when construction changes on site
  • Managing 15-30 installs simultaneously
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues with installers
  • Review architectural plans of location to proactively identify potential issues
  • Some travel may be required throughout the USA
  • Oversee development plan creation and execution for team members
  • Able to feel and communicate a strong sense of urgency without elevating the anxiety surrounding the task at hand
  • Skilled at anticipating needs and having back-up plans ready
  • Operationally focused, but capable of connecting with others to achieve a common goal
  • Places a high value on a respectful, collaborative work environment that supports the development, success and contribution of all team members


  • Price installation jobs within designed budget
  • Monitor shipping of materials and signs to client sites
  • Analyze expenses to determine profitability of each install
  • Prevent rework with proactive planning

Client Facing

  • Schedule and manage installation projects directly with clients
  • Manages customer communications w/updates on crew status, changes in schedule, ETA’s, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with clients


  • 5+ years as a manager – preferably construction or installation – ideally signage
  • Working knowledge of building construction standards, codes
  • Microsoft 365, TEAMS, Zoho Projects, Sortly
