The Project Manager will work in partnership with leaders of the hospital to help initiate, approve, prioritize and execute projects. This role will create structured schedules and project plans based on the project goals, resources needed, potential risks, time, collaboration, and budget constraints. Ensures proper planning is in place at a high level to determine whether the capacity is there to take on new work for the prioritized project portfolio.
Monitor project progress, coordinate resources, and adjust schedule when necessary to ensure the least amount of negative impact to the overall project
Build and maintain project timeline
Participate in the solution development process, to reaffirm initial scoping documents
Drive project management concepts throughout the organization
Develops, manages and monitors that the portfolio conforms to the enterprise portfolio management standards – provide documentation to executive management accordingly
Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the organization and partners with senior management to identify and prioritize company-wide projects in the Company s strategic and annual business plans.
Is responsible for delivering all projects contained in the project portfolios on time, within budget, and meeting the strategic and business requirements
Solve complex problems strategically with results-driven execution
Identify scenarios, formulate specs for design and engineering to deliver on-time
Bachelor degree in business, computer science, electrical engineering or related area required
Minimum of two (2) years project management experience required
Five (5) years management experience preferred
PMP certification is preferred
Solid written and verbal technical communication skills
Proven ability to deliver solutions in collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams
Ability to easily adapt to changing or evolving needs
Experience developing partner-based implementation approaches and structures
