Senior Analyst - Product Owner

Job Summary: The Product Owner works with Department of Defense (DoD) clients to define user stories, prioritize backlogs, and conduct supporting analysis to ensure developed features are contextually relevant and technically accurate. This individual will need to regularly communicate with DoD clients and technical team members to "bridge" complex technical concepts to the functional community and help technical team members understand functional business processes, policies and end-user objective outcomes. This position will be responsible for performing these functions for a Teamcenter implementation for the Minuteman III (MMIII) Program.

Provide vision and direction to the development team, ensuring their Products satisfy the needs of the end user
Populate, manage and prioritize the Product Backlog
Create and manage the Product Roadmap that communicates capability development delivery estimates
During Backlog Refinement activities, lead documentation of adequately detailed user stories and establish Acceptance Criteria for their closure
During Sprint Planning, advise the team on priorities and direct work in accordance with the Product roadmap
Document associated features in a contextually rich manner to enable technically accurate and functionally relevant design and development
Assist in build of test plans for stories/features
Support sprint activities by ensuring technical and functional team members get the information they need to make design trade-off decisions and to prioritize backlogs
Elicit and document customer requirements
Support feature design and development issue analysis and resolution
Coordinate with test teams to ensure testers have clear understanding of feature context, intent and objective outcomes such that high integrity functional testing can be completed
Review and close Stories, ensuring deliverables meet customers' business requirements
Elicit customer feedback and facilitate trade-off and scope change decisions to the product
Support show cases to communicate development success to clients and coordinate on future sprint priorities

Business Development

Provides proposal inputs and technical approach information
Ability to positively represent the company to different clients and supports the marketing and promotion of solution area within and outside of organization
Supports sales and marketing activities for solution offering
Coordinate and maintain vendor relationships within the solution offering


8+ years of DoD analytical experience
Excellent understanding of Siemens product installation and configuration with special emphasis on Teamcenter
Solid understanding of Agile tenants and processes to include story development, backlogs, and features
2+ years supporting Air Force IT-related requirement elicitation and management
Ability to facilitate trade-space analysis to assist clients in balancing capabilities desired with associated configuration/sustainment technical debt
Strong spoken and written English skills
Experience delivering presentations to clients
