Patient Engagement Product Owner

Position Summary

As the MediBookr Patient Engagement Product Owner, you will own MediBookr’s healthcare delivery product end-to-end, including defining requirements and features, driving product roadmap execution, and serving as the go-to expert for current and prospective clients/customers. You will work closely with MediBookr engagement teams and clients to understand requirements and client priorities, aligning the product roadmap to meet market demands and client needs. You will relentlessly prioritize product features and manage execution.

The Product Owner will serve as a thought leader on digital patient engagement overall.

What You Will Do

The Product Owner has the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the Medibookr product roadmap, curating release feature sets that meet market demand and client needs
  • Prioritize the product backlog and ship new to market product releases
  • Actively engage with clients and MediBookr engagements teams to understand client and market priorities, and translate learnings into product feature prioritization
  • Work in an Agile Scrum development environment, working closely with the engineering team in a fast-paced environment, serving as the functional expert and translating product requirements into well written actionable user stories
  • Spearhead sales enablement activities (e.g. product demo asset development), working with extended teams, for mobile (iOS and Android) and web experiences for different user personas
  • Work cross-functionality with industry/consulting experts, engineering leads, and design leads to drive project execution under strict timelines
  • Build and manage the product partner ecosystem, identifying and prioritizing partnership opportunities and leading integration development
  • Serve as the product expert during prospective client discussions, supporting Sales Teams in responding to RFPs and providing product demos/overviews to clients
  • Cultivate a high-performing culture
  • Ability to perform market research with a constant pulse on current trends and competitive products
  • Influence pricing and branding as needed
  • Present and represent the product at events as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required and the following combination of training/education/ background is preferred:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on product management experience with a demonstrable track record of building products from concept through maturity
  • 2+ years building consumer-facing digital product experiences
  • Startup experience in key leadership positions at high-growth technology companies
  • Technical experience or degree in computer science / related field At least 2 years in the healthcare and/or life sciences space
  • Experience with user research, UX, and human centered design overall
  • Strong technical literacy with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences
  • Experience with HL7, FHIR, EDI X12, clinical software systems, EHR Systems, Electronic Health Record technology
  • Experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies Comfortable with direct client engagement Experience working collaboratively to align engineering, marketing, design, customer success with overall product efforts
  • Ability to multi task and manage multiple programs simultaneously.

1. Travel Required – minimal; position is based and operates in the headquarter office in Dallas, TX

2. Position is an exempt salaried professional plus option share incentives

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
