Summary Description: The position is accountable for planning, designing and executing the digital operations model for all of Whataburger’s digital products. Responsible for driving digital product development, finding and realizing efficiencies, and streamlining support systems for Whataburger’s digital products. This role owns the program work and executes work by exercising content authority over the Release Package. This role liaises to accurately convey the vision of the Business to the digital Business Owners and Agile Development Team, by communicating customer needs, clarifying features, and managing daily tasks to assure the integrity of the overall vision (Roadmap) in through DXE product delivery. Ensures the product is aligned with the company’s overall strategic goals, and communicates top customer drivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and implements content management strategies, including document management, workflow management, knowledge management and Family Member experience.
Plans roadmap for digital products to feed the overall Digital Experience (DXE) roadmap.
Develops short- and long-term plans for senior leadership including anticipated deliverables, outcomes, economics, and required resources to sustain the transformation.
Provides department leadership toward creating, maintaining, and marketing the enterprise vision and direction.
Consults on the implementation of business solutions based on the enterprise’s development.
Champions long-range view of strategic impact on internal/external users and defends case for change and budget to meet requirements, identifying opportunities to conserve financial resources in day-to-day activities and planning.
Defines and maintains Service Level Agreements for system services.
Leverages User Centered Design best practices for system implementations to represent business and user’s needs.
Determines appropriate estimates and scheduling for requirements.
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE:
3+ years’ experience supervising others at various organizational levels, preferably at a regional or higher level
Product management experience developing and managing high-tech products and/or services
Experience with projects involving system workflow and consolidation preferred
6+ years’ experience in Digital Product Management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work with information and technology-focused teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to achieve common goals
Strong business planning, forecasting, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate decisions while motivating staff
Ability to create and implement given strategic direction
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work in a Agile / Lean Project work environment
Ability to take customer research and data and translate that into requirements
Proficiency in MS Office Word, and Outlook
Intermediate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Proficiency in SharePoint 2010, Oracle-Taleo, .Net, Numara-Footprints, Daptiv ppm, and Oracle-JD Edwards preferred
Knowledge of application development (.NET preferred)
Understanding of the software development lifecycle
Understanding of the interactive marketplace including its culture and consumers
Advanced professional or theoretical knowledge and functional concepts, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities
Advanced understanding of departmental structure and policies with a basic understanding of the structure and policies of Whataburger Restaurants LLC
Intermediate understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures
Advanced ability to delegate projects and get work done through others
Basic understanding of performance review process
Ability to prepare and present ideas and recommendations to colleagues, manager and direct reports with sufficient notice and preparation
