General Overview

Responsible for the growth and development of a “Special Projects” team, capable of estimating and producing projects up to $1 million
Leverage previous client relationships within Greater Houston area
Develop / maintain relationships with owners and GC’s
Communicate and negotiate with owners, GC’s, vendors, subcontractors, engineers and architects
Attend pre-bid meetings, accurately estimate hours, materials, etc, necessary to bid projects
Ensure that all work is completed according to company safety and quality standards
Effectively track and manage all facets of projects to meet deadlines and budgets
Perform all facets of job with the highest standard of ethics at all times

Skills / Experience

Embedded in Houston market with solid GC and Owner relationships
Minimum of 15 years’ experience
Experienced in bid systems such as Accubid
Experienced in all aspects of project management
Ability to design build electrical systems based on minimal customer provided information
Submit and gain approval of all drawings, load calculations, etc, to local AHJ as required for plan approval process
Experience in providing value engineering options with bids
Be comfortable communicating and / or negotiating with owners, GC’s, vendors, subcontractors, engineers and architects
Ability to efficiently project manage jobs in all areas including: submittal process, obtaining best value material quotes, developing time lines and schedules, change orders, tracking of hours, material and sub costs, progress billing requests, etc
Ability to project manage multiple jobs simultaneously
Must have the highest regard for safety of all personnel and property
Must be highly organized and detailed in all areas of job
Must have strong multitasking skills
Must have sound knowledgeable of NEC and local AHJ requirements
Experienced in Bluebeam and / or CAD

Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills
Proficiency in information analyzation and budget setup
